Here's another medley of things that have been happening.
First off, have you ever tried typing with just your left hand when your right-handed (or vice versa)? Well, it's very hard. I was doing it because Scarlet was on my right hand, but that didn't last very long. She made it a point that she wanted back in her cage.
I'm very upset with myself. I saw my Easter gift! Of course, last year I knew what it was, but that was different. For anyone who's curious, my last Easter gift was a beanbag. All I can say about this gift is that it's awesome, small and a bit scary. I shall give no more hints until Easter.
The intriguing animal act is going well. Our next show is March 15th. Feel free to make a reservation, since there are still lots of openings.
Let's talk about Sara. I think she's feeling kind of down. This morning, I took her into bed with me and talked to her about how much she means to me and how she'll be around the longest. She's 13 years old and box turtles can live to be 50. She'll be around when I go to college! Actually, college isn't that far away, so that was a bad example. She'll be around when I get a house (maybe...)!
Now I have to clean out Ol' Sand Paper's food dish, so...I'll write again tomorrow!

Scarlet!
Yesterday, we picked up Scarlet. She's so amazing! These pictures tell just about everything there is to know about her. Anything unsaid by the pictures will be written at the end.
That just about sums things up. If I forgot to mention something vital or you have a question, just comment.
Well, until tomorrow, farewell.

A Loss of Time
In the past few days, I can't seem to find enough time to do everything. I need to get outside for a bit. If I don't take a long walk down the driveway, I'll die from lack of fresh air! Tomorrow after Mass, I'll rush outside and wrestle with Rosey. I can hardly wait!
In my frequent looks out the window, I've noticed the snow has been melting very quickly. I love snow, but after a day full of playing in it, I want it to be gone. At least I can see the ground very well, though it's not completely gone. In a few days It'll be gone and I'll be happy.

Power Outages and Pets
This morning the power went out. It stayed like that for 4 hours. Daddy turned the generator on, and at some point before he turned it off, the power went back on. The rest of the day went normally.
I haven't had time to train my pets, but I'll try to get some training in tomorrow. I've also got to race Sara. Every week I time her on a course. Basically, she just races her ghost. My goal is to get her to be the fastest turtle in the world. She's going to be a champion someday, I just know it!
My pets and I can't wait for tomorrow's blog!

Even More Snow!

out there. I've made trails that I can walk in to get to the backyard. I need to finish my snow fort by tonight, or I'll be very disappointed. The picnic table now measures 20 inches of snow on it. The snow's a lot of fun, but all be glad when it melts. The carport with the sawmill under it collapsed, and the clothesline bent. Snow can be very destructive. I'm going to have to wait until next week to see my students again. At least I gave them lots of assignments to do! I'm all finished grading, and now I don't know what to do. I guess I'll just sit here and blog... Well, here's some pictures of the snow. It's unbelievably real!

My Beautiful Pets
The show went as expected. I can't say we did great, but the audience didn't appear disappointed. I decided to let Henna and Rosey do their act, and I think it went alright.
Now to my cute little pets! I adore each of them, especially that golden dog and that curious turtle... Rosey is so smart. Not many dogs have her beauty and personality. And Sara, she's so... so... well so fantastic! There are no words to describe my beautiful pets. As you can see, I love to brag about them. I want the whole world to know about them, and that's probably the reason that three of them are in my book. You know, if you study a dog's face, you'll find them remarkably like a person's face. Rosey's got long, golden eyelashes and soft brown eyes. When she licks, it's like a person's gentle kiss. Turtles are a bit different. Sara's eyes are a piercing brown, and she lacks eyelashes. But when she yawns, it's like a young child's yawn. Cats, chickens and guinea pigs are a lot different. A cat's eyes are round and piercing, much like a box turtle's. Bobby's are bloodshot blue, and very big. His tongue is very rough. He doesn't have any eyelashes. Eyes on chickens are small and round, a little bit bigger than a turtle's. Henna's tongue is long and narrow, and she can't lick. She definitely does not have eyelashes. Her eyelids close from the bottom up, like most birds. Guinea pigs have small, dark brown eyes. From a distance, they look black, but if you look closely, they're brown. Rocky also lacks any eyelashes. His tongue is much like a chicken's, but smaller. He has two long teeth that need grinding down, unlike my other pets. If you look at an animal very closely, you'll notice something very unusual.
